snowing in Moeciu Village, a photo from Brasov, East

Photographer's Note

this picture is taken in the day of Cristmas 2005 in a very beautiful place, Moeciu Village (close to Brasov City) - you can see my previous pictures to learn more

in the country, the horse remains the main "transporter" for the people and for the works, we are a very traditionalist people and we keep the connection between man and animals, but, of course, it's also because of the poverty at the country life. However, Moeciu is a very prosper village, because of the huge number of turists who came here, so in this case the horses are kept especially for the strangers could take a ride:)

I wished to read some explanation of this shot.
But I like this photo. Beautiful, calm, quiet, but powerful. Surprised to see a horse slide still working in the village. Nice photo.

Hi Anca, A nice shot with good capture of the horse and sled together with a nice contrast to the environment. Nice composition to leave plenty room for the horse to run in the front. Nice peek view through he door to the yard. A nice and clean shot.

agreat daily life shot. love the way you caght some of the falling snowflakes on your shot. even though i don't like snow that much this looks like a fun place to spend few days.

Excellent shot of this old mode of transport. Necessity result in a preservation, and there you have a natural tourist attraction. Interesting note.

Hi Anca. what a beautiful village scene. It is great to be able to still see that special relationship between man and horse,even if it is mainly for the sake of the tourists. Marvellous snow on the ground and the snow flakes against the black coat of the horse. well composed and nice PoV. Regards. Klaudio.
