When I took a trip to Munchen, some years ago, I was surprised to see ducks on the lake in the Olympia Park... I was used to see swans, but they had ducks, like those from my grandparents' courtyard :))

It's more than one year since, from a pair of ducks, a large "family" developped and took over one of the largest lakes in Bucharest: Balta Alba (literally translated White Lake).

Some of the members of this familly were caught in this picture, in Nov. 2004...
