The escalator at Union Square metro station
Not the best POV but,I liked it in b&W
It is not a secret that I love to use clarify tool and here I did it again
Piaţa Unirii (Unity Square) is a major metro station in Bucharest. It is located in the southern part of the city centre, in Unirii Square (Piaţa Unirii in Romanian) and it is one of the busiest stations of the Bucharest Metro. It is made up of two terminals, one on the M1 and M3 lines and another on the M2 line, linked by a passage. A McDonald's fast-food restaurant is located in the vestibule above the M2 line terminal. The station also features kiosks selling from newspapers to stationery, a diversity of shops, a large police station (with a list of mugshots at the entrance) and mobile-phone servicing points. Due to the numerous entrances located in and around Piaţa Unirii square to the two metro terminals that make up the entire Piaţa Unirii station, it is located in Sectors 2, 3 4 and 5 of Bucharest.

Noooo, you used the clarify tool? ;-) I'm joking.
Yes, in black and white the focus is on the graphics. In colour it would probably look a bit boring. Nice this way.

Isabela, you could have called this vertigo. Not the best POV, you are kidding :-))). All the elements fit in in great balance and you have the human presence too. You used very well that clarify tool, just enough to make the details and shapes stand out with a striking and beautiful result! As Nuno, I don't like the fancy frame:).

P.S. How do you do usually with the tool, you apply it always all over the image or selectively ? Before or after resizing ? Thks.

Il me semble que tu nous avais d駛� montrer sous un autre angle cet escalier.
Ici le point de vue est original et la perspective vertigineuse. La passante sur l'escalator nous montre la taille de l'escalier.

Very cool looking shot. The post processing has really brought out the contrasts within the shot. This makes all the different lines in the picture stand out more. The point of view was well chosen in my opinion since we really get see lots of different geometric shapes.

Hello Isabela,

This is such an artistic creation, with a great deal of depth texture. In works well in b&w, especially with that texture. The presence of the the young woman adds the human interest aspect, and with a slow shutter speed, gives it an enigmatic feeling.

Ce frumoasa poza! Compozitia pozei asta e de necrezut. Imi place mult aspect grafic. Constrastul 絜 alb si negru e perfect si POV e foarte interesant.
