Maybe you'll find this photo stupid..
I took it just a few hours ago, in my grandmother's yard. We got together for a celebration, and the warm sun combined with a touch of wind, the blossomed trees, the happy crowd and.... this cock-a-doodle-doo made me feel it's really spring!

Spring is one of the four seasons of temperate zones, the transition from winter into summer. Spring is counted as the whole months of March, April, and May in the Northern Hemisphere and September, October, and November in the Southern Hemisphere. In all technicality, Spring begins on the Vernal Equinox (March 20th or 21st in the Northern Hemisphere and September 22 or 23 in the Southern) and lasts till Summer Solstice (June 21st or 22nd in the Northern Hemisphere and December 21st or December 22nd in the Southern).

As in summer, the axis of the Earth is tilted toward the Sun, and the length of daylight hours rapidly increases the higher in latitude you are. The hemisphere begins to warm significantly, causing new plant growth to spring forth, giving the season its name. Snow begins to melt, and rivers and streams swell with runoff and Spring rains. Most flowering plants bloom this time of year, in a long succession beginning even when snow is still on the ground, and continuing into early summer (wikipedia.org).

Magnifique coq devant un paysage fleuri. Les couleurs du coq sont superbes.
La photo manque un peu de contraste pour mieux faire ressortir le coq et j'ai pens� faire un Workshop, juste une autre fa輟n de voir.

Hi, its a great photo, the rooster crowing his delight to the world or calling for a mate - it is spring after all. THe blossom in the bg also heralding springtime. Good composition, regards, Jean

Hahahah, Hi Larissa, a great funny photo, you catched him in his great moment with this majestic pose for you!!!-:))
Although the environment arround him is not the best to pick out I find the contrast very good and he is very good to see.
The colors are also amazing.

nici eu nu cred ca e o poza stupida ... poate ca 'vestitorul' primaverii e putin atipic in poza ta, dar eu una sunt multumita :) de asa primavara naturala - prin poza ta simtim si atmosfera placuta pe care ai simtit-o tu la bunica ta.

Buna Larisa,
cred ca asa arata si cocosul care i-a amintit Sfantului Apostol Petru vorbele Mantuitorului: Inainte sa cante cocosul te vei lepada de mine de trei ori. Si asta era in Saptamana Mare, deci tot primavara, de prima data cand am vazut fotografia m-am gandit la asta, l-ai surprins f bine, parca il si aud, numai sa nu ne lepadam si noi. :)
Si in afara de asta, fotografia e frumoasa si reusita.

Very well captured, it's not easy to take a picture from the moving rooster.
