Photographer's Note

May 10 is a special day for Romania's Royal Family this year as it marks 150 years since its establishment. German Prince Karl von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (Carol I) first arrived in Bucharest and started his reign as Ruling Price of Romania on May 10, 1866.
This statue is in front of the Peles Castle, his own creation.

The statue sits well against the rather ornate architecture of the castle. Very good colours and sharpness.

Very significant reporturge image from you. Deep blue statue is nicely match with tasty and interesting decoration of the wall as background. Not compleved but nicely melt up as such.

Besides the imposing posture of the statue, I enjoy the wall above the gate and the depicted carved elements and painting around the upper level windows.
Colors and light upon enhanced the best of details.
Pleasant to look at.

I think the communist dictators have disappeared from the streets, but the Romanian king has retained his high position as a statue or may have regained it, but there is no longer a crown and a throne in it for him.
