Vidraru Lake, a photo from Arges, West

Photographer's Note

Vidraru is an artificial lake in Fagaras Mountains. It is an important source of energy for the power plant below and also a huge reserve of water. Anyway, for a tourist, it is a splendid view. For those planing a trip in Fagaras, the advice is: do not stop at the lake, drive further, since the view becomes fantastic up there :)

Hi Valentin. This is a great idea and quite a common arrangement for TE shot. The scenery is beuatiful, and the boat is an important contribution to the composition. There's a few things you might have done to improve this one though. Apart from the obvious tilt,a lower angle, which included all of the boat woudl have added impact to the scene. It's also a good idea, unless you have a clear idea about why you want to ignore it, to apply the conventional composition rule of thirds, and place the boat off-centre by abuot that amount.

This could be a very great shot. The color, perspective and enquadrement is very interesting allowing a good DOF, but I make my words what "phred91" says. See you next and regards.

I like this shot very much, but I agree with everyone else, leveling the horizon in photoshop would make a big difference.

Imi place mult cum ai frumusetea locului care imi place cel mai mult de la Vidraru, o compozitie superba; ai avut multa inspiratie sa "prinzi" atat de natural barca..
Numai bine
