In the heart of the old town we come across a square framed by ocher-colored facades that form, despite the variety of architectural styles, a homogeneous set: a place with a lot of cachet and cozy terraces. The cobbled streets and alleys of the citadel will allow you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and will surprise you with curiosities such as the strange Casa del Ciervo (Calle de las Escuelas) or the covered staircase (1654), whose countless steps will lead you to the top of the hill.

This square of the Citadel (Piata Cetatii), the largest and most important. Around him were the most important and powerful guilds, such as the goldsmiths or the carpenters. But the citadel has other little squares where markets used to be held and where today there are many bars, shops and souvenir shops. Without forgetting the establishments of artisans, who still reside in the neighborhood, as in the Middle Ages.

En pleno coraz del casco viejo nos topamos con una plaza enmarcada por fachadas de tonos ocres que forman, a pesar de la variedad de estilos arquitecticos, un conjunto homog駭eo: un lugar con mucho cachet y acogedoras terrazas. Las calles y callejas adoquinadas de la ciudadela le permitir疣 sumergirse en la atmfera de la Edad Media y le sorprender疣 con curiosidades como la extra casa del Ciervo (calle de las Escuelas) o la escalera cubierta (1654), cuyos incontables escalones le llevar疣 hasta la cima de la colina.

Esta plaza de la Ciudadela (Piata Cetatii), la m疽 grande e importante. A su alrededor se situaban los gremios m疽 importantes y poderosos, como el de los orfebres o los carpinteros. Pero la ciudadela cuenta con otras placitas donde anta se celebraban mercado y donde hoy abundan los bares, comercios y tiendas de souvenirs. Sin olvidar los establecimientos de los artesanos, que a佖 residen en el barrio, como en la Edad media.

Hello Luis,
It's a fine composition with a good view through the arches across the square to the colourful buildings. The column in the middle is carefully placed slightly to the side. The heavy grey tower was my favourite building in this amazing town. I think there were many more tourists than at my visit nine years earlier.

Interesantan i lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lep prolaz i stara arhitektura na trgu, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i perspektivom.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija i uhvacen trenutak sa posetiocima na trgu.

aquela torre baixa adiante parece muito bonita.
gostei do uso do arco duplo em primeiro plano como moldura para a torre e o povo na pra軋. linda foto e lugar.

Hello Luis,
It is a really attractive market square here with charming houses in appealing colours and a lovely tower also well included in the narrower arch at right. The two arches make a great foreground with some fine red tones.

The fg double arched portal makes a nice frame of the bg square. Good colour, sharpness and framing. Nice repetition of the flagstones. Tfs!

Hola Luis,
I think I recognize this characteristic tower on the right side. Great idea for an original framing of the scene.
The place is so picturesque and the light was a bit dissipated but nevertheless the colors remained vivid and eye catching.

I stayed in a private room in this neighbourhood.
Beautiful view of the tower and the charming houses seen through the gates.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Citadel but I'm a little surprised that you write that now there are many bars, shops and souvenir shops. Tourism seems to have boomed.
