Photographer's Note

Mogosoaia Park can be the perfect recreational hideaway for a Bucharest tourist, tired of the traffic jams, noise and pollution of the city. Situated just a few kilometers away from the Romanian capital, in Ilfov County, the park includes : Mogosoaia Palace from the 18th century, Bibescu Grave Mausoleum (the last owners of the castle), Saint George Church, a lake and a beautiful forest with large alleys, few restaurants and terraces.

Hello Isabela, I know that you love winter so I imagine you must be very happy now, with such snow and frost. beautiful black and white photo but I suppose there were no colours here anyway. Interesting forest with young thin trees. Where you here with our Russian friends?

You created heaps of atmosphere with this well-time photo full of contrast. The perfectly thought-through composition is all about lines leading the viewer's eye through the image.

This is another superior-quality photograph to add to your impressive portfolio. There's not too many of us posting b/w images on TE these days, but when you do, I've always got to stop and take notice. Gorgeous contrast, and I love the way the wide-angle makes the trees seem to lean into the frame like an embrace. The figures are of course vital and the path is strongly placed in the thirds position. Great work: it's in my favourites.

Wonderful graphic elements between dark and light tones, accentuated by the snow. The people at left animate the scene and provide scale. Nice repetition of the vertical lines of the bare tree trunks. The perspective has been well managed with the 90 degree vertical line approximately placed in the centre. Tfs.
