Photographer's Note

Lake Golovița is part of a complex of lagoons on Romania's Black Sea coast. It is connected to the larger Lake Razelm on the north by a channel, to Lake Zmeica on the south by three narrow channels, and separated from the Black Sea's salt water by a narrow spit of sand. This closure was completed artificially in the 1970s, and has caused the lagoon to lose all salinity, increase renewal times to over a year, and develop eutrophication. It is part of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve.rnrnBecause of their wide connection, Golovița is often subsumed under Lake Razelm in official documents. Hello Daniel,
It's a pretty view of the trees reflected in the lake. The white clouds form a nice part of the triangular mirrored image. It's a very sharp and perfectly exposed photo.

Hi Daniel

You had terrific weather which has given wonderful, symmetrical reflections. Good sharpness, colour and saturation. I only went from Tulcea to Sulina on the Danube River, but enjoyed my trip there and back. These lagoons are also very photogenic. Tfs!

nice to see you again. It is a beautiful place with seemingly unspoiled nature. I like the natural well saturated colors. The reflection of course doubles the pleasure.

Good to see you posting again!
Lovely landscape photo from your beautiful country. I've just looked it up on Google maps and I haven't been to this particular lake but very close, on Ukrainian side, in Vylkove (you can see Romania across Danube there).
I like the perfect reflection and the two diagonal lines. Beautiful light, you truly captured the atmosphere of late spring.
