Landmarks of Braşov

This is one of the first photos I took in the city of Braşov, just after we had checked in and right in front of our hotel after the rain that had started at Rupea Citadel had finally stopped. This place offered a view of several of the landmarks in the old town of Braşov, like the Black Church (Biserica Neagră), the tower of the former Council House (which is now a museum) at Council Square (Piața Sfatului) and Braşov Citadel (Cetățuia Brașovului). The building in the foreground is the Transylvanian Sports Museum.

the name of this city sounds like the mine. haha.
marvelous buildings we can identify here and there with these curious roofs.excellent samples of architecture. a perfect image of the town.

Hi Lars,

The trees are giving a touch of nature to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the church and of the Transylvanian Sport Museum. The light is giving good colors rendering. Have a nice day.

Jag k舅ner inte igen den h舐 vinkeln, men jag har fina minnen av den vackra staden. H舐 f蚌 du med ganska m蚣ga viktiga byggnader i en bild. Inte minst sportmuseet i fgrunden 舐 ganska praktfullt. Jag gillar ocks� utsikten mot den skogskl臈da kullen i bakgrunden. Ljuset 舐 alldeles utm舐kt.

3 towers with clocks in the one photo! And... on looking at the large version they all seem to be showing different times.
A great view to have on arrival and a good sharp one with good colour and detail.

Towers and turrets shown in its exqusiste style and sharp details.
Good view across town towards the green hill on far where the citadel built upon.
No less than three Clock towers well shown on this picture.

Hi Lars,
Fantastic point of view here! Slightly elevated perspective allowed you to include a wider panorama of this charming town. I think I recognize one of the towers in the distance from some other photos on TE.
There seems to be so much to see and do there. Multitude of interesting towers.
