Dear Florentina,
Sharpness of the pigeons are quite impressive on your shot.
Are you sure of the f/2.8 ouverture ? Sharpness seems to me to large for such a shot !

Hi Flory!
You did make it very clear what your subject was in this picture. No one can complain about that but I will complain about having caught to many of them in this shot. I remember Raluca's shots from a couple of months ago in Piata Universitatii. In your phot they seem too overwhelming... too many, too uniformly distributed but fortunatelly there are a few that stand out in the crowd and those make the picture interesting to watch.
It's kind of hard to figure out whether the old lady in the picture was being attacked or she was feeding them. Her posture points a little bit toward the first option though I'm sure the latter was true.
I'm not sure about the cropping but I know I couldn't have done it any better so...
Anyway, nice shot!

Your photograph is extremely well done.
To begin with I'm quite surprised at the sharpness of the pigeons at 1/500 seconds.
The panoramic composition is nice. The lady is decentered to the right. I like the background and its colours.

Yes I know many people that don't like pigeons, mostly because they dirt everything, but I don't have nothing against them. This is a typical scene from most city centers of the world. Iulian has a good point but still I like the general framing of this dynamic image, with the sight of the historic fa軋de in the background and the old lady well placed in the composition.

I think this is one of your very best images and the poem is nice. The shutter speed is ideal though I am wondering why you put black and white.

Hi Florentina, i guess this is the first time i'm leaving a comment on a shot of you, i'll pick this one, but was hesitating with "january at sea". But as today it's a beautiful hot day in France i'll pick the one that has most vivid colors and what a scene you got here ! Exactly at the right time, composition is wonderful

Hello Florentina,
I have never seen your gallery before, how strange.
Browsing through the pages i saw this one and want to leave a comment. And it seems others also did because this one seems to be a favorite among others.
Really like the whole set-up in framing, colours and composition. The pigeons are all over, but still we see much detail on the building and the old lady placed to the right (perfect) is really dominant in her black dress.
A real good photo...excellent work..!!!
