Photographer's Note
It's been several years since I posted "World's Oldest Republic I", but from time to time it's nice to look back at old photos. I said I was going to post some photos from my recent trip to South America, but first I need to find time to organize them. Meanwhile, I've been going through some old photos and found this one.
San Marino is one of the world's smallest countries. With its 61 sq.km. I suspect it's #5 on that list among independent countries. The country lies mostly in the hillside of Monte Titano, in which has three summits. Each with a castle. This photo - a panorama made up of 3 photos - was taken while visiting the middle one, Castello della Guaita.
I honestly can't think of a bad word about San Marino. It's a beautiful country.

Hello Fredrik,
The world oldest Republik and the tiny country. Nice view of the city wall. Attractive colours.
I still haven't seen the other small countries - Andorra and Lichtenstein :).
