I must be honest here, I don't know who this man is and I wish there was more of a note to tell us :) BUT it is a really interesting portrait. His expression is very sad! He looks like a man that has had a very hard life. A very nice capture. TFS and have a great day!

Dobar Dan Branko,
This is one of your best photos I think.
For me "nostalgia" is everything and I liked every detail of this photo: The oil lamp hanging in the wall, the old iron working with coal,the B&W photos on the wall. Wish to know and see the details of the paper half under the family photos. Maybe it is the first money Radisava Velikog earned or an important document he owns, I am not sure.
The expression in his eyes are impressive.

Tu as un sens de l'humour certain. Pris en 1980, Cet int駻ieur de maison, et la vieille personne me rappelle ce que j'ai vu dans les campagnes fran軋ises et que l'on peut encore voir de temps en temps. Bonne image prise fort � propos.

Zdravo, zdravo.

Nekaj časa mi modem ni deloval, pa vidim da si bil precej aktiven.

Perfektna scena. Kot je bakyy dejal, super atmosfera, milijon zanimivih detajlov, naraven "setting", plus 啼 mnogo več. Vidim da je skenirana slika.
Vidim tudi kateri datum je, je njegova 杪lost na obrazu (ali pa samo brezvoljnost) povezana s tem dogodkom? Oz. tistim dva dni prej? Ali je to samo naključje.

Superbe, cette photo scann馥 !!! J'esp鑽e que tu en as encore d'autres pareilles petites "antiquit駸" � nous faire admirer !!!

J'adore le portrait, vraiment forte son expression un peu nostalgique, aussi le cadrage et tout ce qui l'entoure avec son fer � repasser, mais seulement une chose...

... vraiment, je regrette l'absence de note car tu ne fais qu'y r駱騁er le titre sans nous expliquer qui 騁ait ce grand homme alors qu'avant tu nous r馮alais avec des textes pleins d'humour, d'ironie et toujours 騁onnants, souvent en 3 langues ce qui devrait 黎re suffisant !!! Ces belles notes 騁aient souvent des chefs d'oeuvre et elles me manquent maintenant...

Zdravo Branko. Vrlo mila slika. Izgleda covjek sa mekim srcem, i ako je zivio u to doba kad njegova rjec je bila zakon.I vidi se takodjer da zivot je bio tezak. Moja baka je rodila dvanaest a samo moj otac je ostao ziv da uzdigne svoju porodicu.Ponosni i pobozni su to bili ljudi, malo su govorili a duboko osjecali. Danas puno govorimo, a malo osjecamo. A i jos i manje vjerujemo u icemu. Pozdrav prijatelju. Klaudio.

really a great portrait! In these shiny eyes and in these hands there is a whole life, probably of hard job. This photo has been captured in 1980 and this person, probably, there is not more, but this magnetic look will live forever in your image. Stupendous work, I like a lot.

the portrait looks really great! an "old-fashioned" one, but so impressive. It could be taken in some Russian village which is very far from the centre - from Moscow.

Que d'atmosph鑽e dans cette photo. Bien sur, il y a l'homme, le vieil homme, le bel homme et puis, il y a le "d馗or" : la canne, le d騁ail de la nappe, la lampe et les vieilles photos.

bravo pour ce portrait en situation, on se croirait en 1950. J'aime bien tous les ustensiles et les photos accroch馥s au mur, en plus de la pose. Le grain de la photo ajoute � la nostalgie.

Hi Branko

As you looked at my first TE post I felt I should to the same. Thanks for the critique on my Mumbai shot. What an interesting portait! Even I do not know the man, but he looks very concentrated to the camera. The lightening is a bit dark but using more flash power may not help either. Perhaps I would try a second flash or bouncing, but the result is not sure. Doing such shots you cannot try all the options, because then the moment is gone. Overall I like the shot. It's a good start in TE, congrats.

C'est marrant , on dirait un mus馥 et le vieil homme en fait partie. Ses yeux sont hagards et fatigu駸. Ils traduisent le regard vers le pass�.
