Photographer's Note
The building of the Petrovaradin regiment stationed in Sremska Mitrovica during the Military Confines in southern Austria-Hungary. In the building erected in 1747 was the colonel's apartment. The three plaques in the wall of the left fa軋de are spolias, part of the fence of (after the one in Rome) the largest hippodrome of the Roman Empire, which was located next to the Imperial Palace.
Today, the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Srem is in the building.
WS: Entrance that also allowed the entrance of carriages, with characteristic protective stones on both sides (to carriage undamaged wall)

Ciao Alex, this perspective is affected by the distortion of the lens, while the WS is really beautiful and shows the still well-kept and imposing entrance, a historic building that resists after 250 years and is always useful. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
