Slovenia is a small country that resembles in many parts to the Tirol or Austria. The Julian alps are perfect for long hikes amongst gorgeous rivers and mighty mountains.
Pictured here is the Tolmin gorge in the Socca river valley. In this karst region, rivers have created a great number of gorges and waterfalls that are a photographers dream. Tripod, ND filters and remote release where of good use to capture the swirling waters of the Tolmin river and its emerald green waters.

Beautiful view down the gorge, the rocks are gorgeous and the colour of the water so wonderful. You captured a nice, silky effect of the fast stream water. Very well done.

Als ich das letzte Mal in jener Gegend war, nannte sie sich noch "Jugoslawien". An der landschaftlichen Schheit hat sich nichts ver舅dert, was beruhigt. Politisch bin ich mir leider nicht so sicher.
