This is the view from Ljubljana's Preseren Square looking across the river. if you are wondering where the river is it is just in front of the lower buildings. At the front to the right is the base of the Preseren Monument - the statue of France Preseren is on the other side of the monument. On top of the hill is Ljubljana Castle - a steep walk up!

Hi Ian,
Nice photo with this castle and these facades, the prohibited direction sign is a detail which seems to make us think that this period of confinement, tourist visits are no longer allowed, sad period with especially the consequences on the health of the terrible virus!

Hello Ian, I like this composition very much. And worth seeing in the large format - the sharpness is phenomenal. The nice building of the Philharmony. The impressive castle, I do not remember well but probably I went this steep walk up. Marvellous colours.
