Horse cart rides are popular at the center of Sevilla. This view is from Puerta de Jerez. It wasn't particularly busy in the morning, peak hours would come later.

Hello Kari,
A very nice photo of all those horse carts in a good composition. The bright sunlight is wonderful and very well handled too, it added some nice long shadows on the square at right. Well done.

Not quite rush hour, which means we get to see several horses allowed to take a rest. Good for them, and good for you who could take a nicer photo.

It seem or the carriages have a less work.
But the horses way rest in shadow of the trees on the square

Hello Kari,
Horse carts belong in Sevilla. I still remember them from my visit in the early 1980s.
If I'm not mistaken, the yellow colour of the wheels matches the one of many buildings in the city.
Here the horses wait patiently on a striking green place.

Hello Kari,
The horses are kept under the shadows, as Sevilla is known for its hot weather. When we were there it was June of 1998 with a 42C day.
Superbly managed the view through the variable light to the large lot full with carriages and their carters.
