Photographer's Note

This is a photo of Jaca in winter morning. Jaca is a city of northeastern Spain in the province of Huesca, located near the Pyrenees and the border with France. Jaca is an ancient fort on the Arag River, situated at the crossing of two great early medieval routes, one from Pau to Zaragoza. Jaca was the city out of which the County and Kingdom of Aragon developed. It was the capital of Aragon until 1097.

Hola Sergio,
Magnificent frontal POV of the pink painted and elegant corner building.
Its style contrast the surrounding other city buildings. A town which is not in the everyday's tourists route.

Hello Sergio,
Indeed, there was a thin layer of snow or frost on the ground, similar to what surprisingly covers central Stockholm at this very moment. ;-) The nearest building is very nice, almost of the "flat iron" type, with attractive pink walls and a fine round tower. In case it contains ordinary apartments it should be an attractive place for people to call their home. A bench and a narrow path anchors the composition in the foreground. There is a pleasantly mild winter light which you captured well.

Sergio, Jaca parece ser una tranquila ciudad de provincia. Diferentes estilos arquitectonicos coexisten en este barrio. El edificio de color rosa palido contiene una torre y balcones de hierro forjado que son muy encantadores. Hermosos colores, buen nitidez. Saludos cordiales

Hello Sergio,

This is a very distinctive building, almost on the style of flat iron buildings, which have featured on TE from numerous places, although the pastel, pink colour is very different. I love the metal balconies accessed by tall, narrow windows. I can imagine the views possible from the top of the tower.
You have captured this main building with excellent clarity.
Though the seat is anchoring the f/g, it means that there is a lot of empty land prefacing the pink building. I wonder how you would feel about cropping some f/g and using the lamppost to anchor the f/g. It also brings that lovely pink building closer.
It could be a possibility, see what you think.

Hola Sergio,
What a charming building, it would catch my attention as well! The lovely tower.
Winter morning has always limited light and even if it is there it is often filtered through thick layer of clouds making it quite dispersed and white.
I am actually looking forward to warmer sunny day when the light gets stronger but then again we are trapped at home now.
