Photographer's Note

Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park is an IUCN Category II National Park situated in the Pyrenees of Huesca, Arag. It was created August 16 of 1918 by a Royal Decree which declared Ordesa Valley a National Park of 21 square kilometres of extension. In July 13 of 1982 it was enlarged to the 156.08 kmｲ. It's included in the Biosphere Reserve of Ordesa-Vimala declared by UNESCO in 1997.

Hello Sergio,
This is quite a dramatic view. I like how you have composed it with the curving dark area in the foreground and the clouds surrounding the razor sharp view of the brown mountain with areas covered with snow. It's an elegant photo with fine contrast of darker and lighter parts.

Hello Sergio,

This is like a bubbling cauldron!
The clouds seem to be swirling around, like steam from a huge, bubbling pan!
It's a very sharp exposure and perfectly composed so that the curve of the hillside acts like a frame for the b/g.

Sergio, la foto muestra el patrimonio natural de los Pirineos. La cumbre rocosa esta cubierta de nieve en invierno. Los bosques crecen en las pendientes mas bajas. Esta foto tomada en 2003 con probablemente las primeras camaras digitales es de muy buena calidad. Hermosos colores, buen punto de vista, saludos cordiales.

A really beautiful mountain landscape. The grey low-hanging clouds create such a fantastic frame in the foreground and the snowy rocks stand out very well from it. Wonderful shapes and textures also.

Wonderful contrast with shady foreground forest and rough mountain peak with snowy terraces in the background. Clouds hanging on the slopes add a special feeling to this scene.

Hello Sergio, the dark foreground makes a good frame for the snow covered mountain.
The swirling cloud adds a special atmosphere, maybe suggesting that you quite high above sea level?

Maravillosa composicion con la cima rocosa de esa monta, donde la nieve aprovecha casa cornisa para situarse, ideal esas nubes que parecen enmarcarla.

wow this is a truly impressive view of nature at its best. The mountain decorated with snow but also in a great sunlight which provided well saturated colors. The dark silhouette of the hill makes an original framing, and the clouds add some touch of mystery.
