Photographer's Note
This is a view of another lovely beach in the southeast Lanzarote. Playa de la Cera is the next beach to the north from Playa del Papagayo. La Cera means the wax in Spanish. I have no idea where the name came from. On this beach I spent few hours before the noon. I liked it more than Playa del Papagayo. I didn稚 want to leave. There were fewer people, more transparent water, although the waves were higher. We met there our Polish friends from the UK which added a social aspect to it.
In this photo you see the back side of the beach with the volcanic landscape behind.
As noticed by Paul in the previous photo, also here there are some people walking away from the beach. I am not sure whether these are hiking enthusiasts or they are in search of a toilet. Nevertheless the distribution between the hikers and beachgoers leans towards the beachgoers.

Yet another beautiful angle upon the magnificent landscape of this island, Mariusz, from a different spot.
Geologists would enjoy a lacture about the earth formation we see here, volcanic slopes in black vs. sandy yellow beaches.
Fabulous sight and a well composed photo.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hello Mariusz,
The fact that you left out the sea entirely is very nice here, it is as though the people are sunbathing in a small sandy oasis in the middle of this rocky and hilly area, which looks beautiful as well with wonderful colours and shapes.

HI Mariusz, isn't usual to see a pic of a beach without the sea, this choice is great and perfect to show the other side of Plata de la cera,in italian this word is the same but i haven't idea why this beach is called in this way. Great show that make us understand perfectly the volcanic origins of this island. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz,
This photo shows the landscape in a wonderful way.
It seems to me like a camping in the desert :)
Without a note or placeholder, viewers would naturally wonder what all those people are doing there. They probably already suspect that just outside the image there is a sea.
I like that you took this photo inland. We can see clearly how (at least in this part of the island) the interior of Lanzarote looks like.
It is also clear how those people got on top of the cliff. Doesn't seem too difficult.
In the foreground we see one very poor plant growing :)
There's no shelter from the sun anywhere. One should clearly know this in advance before going there. But most visitors go there to bake anyway, I think.
You will find me annoying but I still think this beach is too crowded :)
Best regards, Paul

Hello dear friend
I am feeling so unhappy that we are
in the beginning of the winter
I would like to know that
the summer will arrive soon
and I will be able to visit this
wonderful beach...into my dreams

Hi Mariusz
An interesting beach photo with no water but that desolate background. Given the nature of the Canarias I thought that it must all be volcanic but then the beach isn't black.
cheers

Hi Mariusz,
Photogenic and well taken this beach with also the desert mineral landscape, a good angle and a photogenic contrast with this different ground, good light and sharpness, tfs.

Czesc Mariusz!
This shot reveals the bleak, inhospitable volcanic landscape abutting the beach. The people on the beach add scale. Good colour and sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Mariusz,
I think it was a good idea to present the beach from this angle for it gives us an impression of the interior of the island, that it is quite hilly and arid. In fact, without knowing the b/g of your photograph, I could easily believe that you are in the desert, apart from, why would those people be sunbathing there!!!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
Now, that is an interesting view. With no sight of water, one would think people were sunbathing in the middle of a desert!
Regards,
MT
