Photographer's Note

My previous Madrid picture was pretty classical, this is a bit less familiar sight.

This is the view from our hotel room in Madrid. No major sights, but a most interesting view nevertheless, imho, when given good light.

I particularly like the contrast between the old workers houses below and the more modern architecture beyond. Particulary thosse workers houses below were a bit odd and a rather unsuspected find in central Madrid.

The church in the bg is the church of Santa Teresa y San Jos, the shot was taken from a hotel room on the Cta de San Vincente, roughly halfway between the Plaza de Espana and the Royal Palace. Pretty central.
