Photographer's Note
Puerto de Mog疣 is a resort on the southern coast of Gran Canaria. The original fishing village was built on the hill slopes. Series of stairs lead to old houses with no road access.
Sand beach and port area including the tourist village is newer development built on land reclaimed from the sea. However, lack of larger hotel complexes gives an illusion of a genuine village rather than a resort.

Hello ,
A little fishing harbour has became a large touristic resort . The charm is not the same ... But your picture is excellent to present the place . A superb composition with fine colors , under the carian sun in winter .

Hello Kari,
A very lovely scene here.
Very good sharp focus, making this photo so clear, bringing out all the varied colours.
I like the cliff in the distance.
We in U.K. having very cold weather. I hope you are enjoying the warm sun.
I envy you.

Hi Kari,
A beautiful shot of this picturesque village.
Good composition and POV, the place looks like a fantastic place to visit.
A fine quality image, very sharp and exposed well. I like the realistic presentation of the sky with just a hint of CPL influence.
An excellent capture, and not a train to be seen.
Regards
Peter

As a traveller and a sailor I appreciate a lot these last photos of yours about Gran canaria and Puerto de Mogan. Beside being fine they are highly informative about the place: just what I consider to be a good travel photo.
For all the yachts who want to cross the Atlantic, Canaries are an important port of call, the last place where to buy and store food, water and also find a crew before the big jump. I've read so many first hand reports about these islands which in every sailor imagination have a mythical aura, so I'm really glad to see a bit of them in a more realistic way!

Donato

Hi Kari,
Nice postcard from the Canary Islands. I've been to the Azores briefly two times, but have never even seen the Canaries that I can remember. They look very interesting, sort of a combination of European and African from what I have seen from your photos so far. The cliffs in the background make this photo really nice. You have a great high pov and lots of sharpness across the frame, too, and the wide angle affords us a sweeping vista.
Nice shot!
