Covarrubias and its river, a photo from Burgos, Castilla y Leon

Photographer's Note

Time ago I posted a similar photo and today I wanted to share with you this similar version.
The same river, the same place and the same reflections and light.

The place is Covarrubias, the heart of the old Castile. And the river: the Arlanzon river.

This place is only 13 km far from Quintanilla del Coco and it's a medieval and amazing place. The old architecture, the bridge, the wild surroundings,... everything looks great.

Don't miss it and enjoy Covarrubias.

this is a splendid blue hour photo.
the water turned into a sheet of ice, with remarkable reflections.
and the blue is light and crisp, with silhouetted trees standing proud and tall.
wonderful lighting makes this perfect!

The place looks nice with river, old bridge and houses but the best here is the colors: blue hour sky and orange and green on the lower part... also i like the frozen silky surface of the water with the long exposure.

Pues creo que no vi la otra foto, pero muy interesantes los reflejos, al estar el agua sedosa por la larga exposici quedan unos reflejos distintos de los habituales, muy fantasmal el tercio inferior de la foto. Una paleta de colores vespertinos( o matinales..) muy atractiva.

Hola Carlos, the 30s of exposure did wonders here. The river doesn't look like a river anymore...it looks more like a frozen lake for ice-skating. Amazing smooth surface and light reflections, lovely sky enhancing.
