Easter in Spain. Sevilla... SEMANA SANTA SEVILLANA.

He's a nazareno... well, really I am not sure because I don't the real name of the people dressed in this way.
Nazareno, Ku-klux-klan,... I don't care the name. But believe me, it's impressive the depth feeling of this celebration.
The music, the people, everything, everything is amazing and please, if you can, don't miss the show.

La foto sobre la mirada encaputxada d'aquest nazareno 駸 molt directa i forta, amb el fons perfectament desenfocat.

A good close framing on the eyes, well focused. I think you could crop even closer to reduce the bright area at the top and off center the eyes a bit more cutting a bit on the right

considering all the people who visit Spain during Semana Santa, it mustn't have been easy to take such a shot...
the eyes and the hood are striking, there is an intensity that - combined with the atmosphere they create and the blurred background - is reminiscent of other celebrations with hooded men...
if you had 1/20 more it would have been absolutely perfect - but we shoot when we shoot and there's not always time...

Interestic & mysterious...only the eyes! Good use of DOF, though I might have liked teh eyes to be more in focus...focus seems to be on the cloth opening for the eyes. Its a minor distance & I know which would make focussing a problem with the zoom. Well done!

El retrato es fant疽tico y hace que los ojos adquieran una mirada penetrante al estar tapado el rostro.

Definitivamnete una foto muy artistica y muy inteligente, la verdad es que los ojos sobresalen en esta foto y creoq ue proyecta mucha fuerza, es muy interesante por su minimalismo y lo que proyecta

Hello Carlos,
This is minimalism and skill at their best. The composition and crop are strong, and they come right at you. The bokeh is well-done. The eyes inside that black hood are fascinating and a bit disturbing at the same time. I understand the reference you made in your note. The hoods do resemble that other group that wears them. I always think of that when I see photos of "semana santa" from Europe. People here don't wear costumes such as those.

By the way, thanks for your visits to my gallery. It was nice to have you stop by. :-) Your gallery is definitely a passionate and impressive one.
