Continuing post...

L'ﾀgora, one of the structures found in the City of Arts and Sciences.

Agora, a greek word literally meaning a "Gathering Place" or "Assembly" was a center for athletic, artistic, spiritual and political life in the ancient times in Greece.

Adopted from the Greek term, this multifunctional covered space designed none other than Santiago Calatravaa is a versatile space that will allow the holding of varied events, from staging of congresses, conventions, concerts, and performances; it can also be converted into an exhibition area.

This was actually the home for the successful Valencia Open 500 Tennis Tournament, one of the most important international sports meetings.

Hello Matt

The picture is more striking on the thumbnail than it is here. On the thumbnail the balance betwee the arch in front and the construction in the bg seems a lot tighter. Here, I feel the arch in front is more dominant and takes away some of the attention from the overall, and rather abstract, composition. Good colours, great composition idea, though.

You have an amazing series of Calatrava's architecture. And your style of showing it enhances futuristic feeling, hiding anything that could be considered as ordinary. Strong saturation also suits well on such scenes.

I have enjoyed browsing your gallery. You have a good eye for artistic composition and minimalism.

This is a fine shot, minimalistic and very abstract in its content. The lines and the composition are extremely strong as are the colour and the sharpness.
This is the sort of shot modern advertisers often like to use.

What a fab archi graphism this is ! I really dig the very exact framing and juxtaposition here - it's so pleasing to the eye (the expo is spot on too) and creative by any standard (I have seen tons of captures of this place, but never this way.)

Nice use of the opposition between foreground and background. It works because the shot is still easily readable and the juxtaposition is drawing new lines.

comme toi je suis fascin� par les lignes de Calatrava, plut, les courbes. A li鑒e o� je vis, il a 騁� l'architecte de la nouvelle Gare TGV, tr鑚 jolie d'ailleurs.
