This photo was taken around the Plaza de Nuestra Senora del Pilar in Zaragoza. The discovery of this city of Aragon was a pleasant surprise of our trip to Europe this year.

Rejean - I've never been to Spain, but I always associate its cities with the same golden tones you have here - even the water has a golden cast to it in this shot, the result no doubt of later light. Nice perspective on the plaza, though a couple of the spires are cut off just before the top - still, we get a sense of the grandeur of it, and the scale. Well seen.

Excellent photograph with warm colours !! The colour of the walls, the craftmanship with oriental and arab influences are impressed in the old buildings of the place. Its common place that the minarets during the chaliphate had been made into bell towers after the catholic "re-conquista".
The fountains add to the charm of the scene.
The saturation of the colours adds to the depth and sharpness but in the process - the sky is lost.

A beautiful selection of spires and towers make this, for me, a very intriguing shot, and contrasting very well with the modern building in the lower left. Great use of light and colour, and a brilliant composition.

La distance entre la fontaine et le clocher donne de la profondeur � la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les d騁ails et les couleurs de l'architecture des immeubles. La bonne luminosit� rehausse la beaut� des couleurs. Bonne soir馥.

Bonjour Rejean,
The mingle modern architecture's and older style is an intriguing subject for photographers.
POV with the fontana gave good depth-of-field, 12 turrets (one is obsecurred by the big tower) also impossible to take all in one shot - but a beautiful elements in the whole scene.
