Slats and Stripes on the Slow Train to Soller

Running from the capital, Palma, to Soller on the north west coast, the slow train is a throw back in history. Traversing the low plains and then traveling through the Tramuntana Mountain Range, a UNESCO heritage site, you get to see part of the real deal Mallorca.

Not expensive, well worth the Euros, a great day out. Try it - you will like it :-)

You took a very nice picture with a train without people and real the old interior with wood, real nice done.
Also excellent perspective and depth. .

A study in perspective, depth, light and shade...
Very good! plenty to see, the lines, the shadows, the textures, the eye popping colours and the balance in the image. And for all the shades of contrast you have managed to avoid any burnout. Great shot.

Hi Casper,
Sunshine looks great on the old wooden benches. This train is well preserved and I would like to travel on it some day. Train interiors are not so often shown as outside pictures, so I'm glad to see this one.
