Photographer's Note

After a good lunch in a restaurant in Vilassar de Mar, in The Maresme, and during a pleasant stroll along this beach, I took this photo due to the striking beauty of the clouds in the sky, and to the last beams of the Sun that are crossing them, creating a wonderful effect and a few nice silvered sheens on the sea.
In foreground you can see some traditional fishing boats resting on the sand of the beach, into the right side a part of the village of Vilassar de Mar, and in background, Montju�c's silhouette and the city of Barcelona in cross-light.

Despu駸 de un buen almuerzo en un restaurante en la playa de Vilassar de Mar, en El Maresme, y durante un agradable paseo a trav駸 de esa playa, tom� esta foto debido a la impactante belleza de las nubes en el cielo, y a los 伃timos rayos de sol que las atravesaban, creando un efecto maravilloso y unos bonitos brillos plateados sobre el mar.
En primer plano pod駟s ver algunas barcas de pesca tradicionales descansando sobre la arena de la playa, a la derecha una parte del pueblo de Vilassar de Mar, y al fondo, la silueta de Montju�c y la ciudad de Barcelona en contraluz.

Hello Josep,
The light conditions were so beautiful here. I really like the sunlight breaking through the clouds. The contrast between light and shadow is superb, the dark beach with the boats in the foreground looks great in front of the ripples of the sea.

Bonjour Josep,

J'aime beaucoup cette composition. L'heure est belle et les nuages dans le ciel dramatisent le coucher de soleil sur la ce. J'aurais aim� mieux voir les barques � l'avant plan.

Las nubes est疣 realmente maravillosas en esta foto, haciendo um bell﨎imo contraste con las partes m疽 claras del cielo. La luz fue perfectamente manejada y su reflejo en la superficie del agua tambi駭 es muy interesante! Excelente trabajo! Linda composici!

Wow.... una maravilla de contraluz, con esas nubes tan espectaculares, que dan un toque dram疸ico a ese cielo, que tambien muestra la zona de luz del sol, el cual da unos bonitos reflejos plateados al mar, ideal el contraluz con las barcas en primer plano, y la gran perspectiva de la linea de costa, con parte del pueblo y la ciudad de BCN, perfil疣dose en la distancia.
Magn凬ico color, lo cual da mucha fuerza a la imagen.
Muy buena la gestion de luz y perfecta nitidez.
Un magn凬ico trabajo. Me gusta mucho.
Que tengais un buen resto de semana, aqui un frio tremendo.

A foto realmente possui uma atmosfera muito legal e uma cena muito bonita, merecendo mesmo ser fotografada. Os barcos ficaram excelentes no primeiro plano e o brilho da luz na 疊ua � fant疽tico. O grande volume de nuvens parecem querer encobrir os 伃timos rastros de luz.
Excelente!

tra le due foto preferisco questa, � sicuramente pi� drammatica e pi� intensa.
Quel raggio di sole sullo sfondo che illumina quel piccolo tratto di mare � semplicemente fantastico.

Superbe luminosit� avec ce ciel bien captur�, le paysage aveccette plage est aussi bien cadr� avec ces barques en premier plan, bon effet de profondeur d'image avec cette courbe.

What a stunning late afternoon view and the menacing clouds that seems about to crush the seascape. Wonderful composition with amazing scale and a good choice to concentrate on the enormous sky with 3d feel to it. The golden band on the horizon, water sheen and wiggles are the icing on the roll. I have nothing but admiration on your remarkable piece of lens work - a jaw-dropping rare event! Congrats
