Tom� esta foto al anochecer, desde el balc�n de mi hotel en La Manga, y aqu� pod駟s ver el agua tranquila del Mar Menor con unas texturas, unos brillos, y unos reflejos, que la hac�an muy atractiva, con el interesante elemento ofrecido por una barca solitaria anclada all�.
En la parte superior, al lado izquierdo, se pueden ver los primeros edificios de la franja llamada 鏑a Manga�, la mayor�a son condominios de apartamentos, aunque a lo largo de esta zona tur�stica hay muchos hoteles tambi駭.
La calma del momento, la luz suave y el aspecto del agua inspiraban a cualquier fot�grafo.

La Manga es un curioso capricho orogr畴ico que es tambi駭 uno de los s�mbolos que mejor identifican el litoral murciano como enclave tur�stico: un cord�n extendido a lo largo de, aproximadamente 24 km, entre Cabo de Palos y la Punta del Moj�n, que pone l�mites naturales a la laguna de agua salada conocida como Mar Menor.
En su origen, lo que actualmente se conoce como La Manga del Mar Menor fue una bah�a abierta al Mediterr疣eo; en sus extremos, escollos de rocas volc疣icas fueron actuando paulatinamente como frenos de arenas y sedimentos arrastrados por las corrientes marinas, hasta formar una columna arenosa de dunas y vegetaci�n agreste y extensas playas ba�adas por dos mares, el Mediterr疣eo y el Menor.
La Manga es una estrecha franja de terreno cuya anchura var�a entre 100 m y 1 km y medio. Est� cortada por canales naturales que mantienen el contacto entre los dos mares; las llamadas golas permiten la entrada del agua del Mediterr疣eo en la laguna. Como tal espacio, se mantuvo virgen hasta la d馗ada de los a�os sesenta, cuando se produce el "descubrimiento" de La Manga como enclave tur�stico, experimentando una transformaci�n con la urbanizaci�n de la zona y la construcci�n de infraestructuras tur�sticas.

I took this photo at dusk, from the balcony of my hotel in "La Manga", and here you can see the calm water of the Minor Sea with a few textures, a few sheens, and a few reflections, which were making it very attractive, with the interesting element offered by a solitary boat anchored there.
In the top part, at left side, there can be seen the first buildings of the called strip "La Manga", the majority are condominiums of apartments, though along this tourist zone there are many hotels also.
The calmness of the moment, the soft light and the aspect of the water were inspiring any photographer.

"La Manga" is a curious orographic caprice that is also one of the symbols that better identify the littoral murciano as a tourist enclave: a cord extended along, approximately 24 km, between "Cabo de Palos" and "El Moj�n", which puts natural limits to the lagoon of salty water known as "Mar Menor" (Minor Sea).
In its origin, which nowadays is known as "La Manga del Mar Menor" was a bay opened for the Mediterranean; in its ends, reefs of volcanic rocks were acting gradually as brakes of sands and sediments dragged by the marine currents, up to forming a sandy column of dunes and wild vegetation and extensive beaches bathed by two seas, the Mediterranean and the "Mar Menor".
"La Manga" is a narrow strip of land which width changes between 100 m and 1 km and a half. It is cut by natural channels that support the contact between both seas; the "golas" called allow the entry of the water of the Mediterranean in the lagoon. As such space, it was kept virgin up to the decade of the sixties, when the "discovery" of "La Manga" takes place as tourist enclave, experiencing a transformation with the urbanization of the zone and the construction of tourist infrastructures.
