Photographer's Note

La Mancha is an arid but fertile plateau that stretches from the mountains of Toledo to the western spurs of the hills of Cuenca. Consuegra in the plains of La Mancha is famous for its windmills.

Miguel de Cervantes described the region and its windmills in his two-part 1605/1615 novel Don Quixote de La Mancha. The area is a must-visit for fans of Don Quichote and quintessential Spanishness.

Hallo Benny,
Wow, als je de titel van deze foto op drie keer woordwaarde legt bij Scrabble is het spelletje meteen afgelopen en heb je gewonnen! Een prachtige compositie en mooi licht voor deze Spaanse windmolen. De witte muren en de zwarte wieken en top steken mooi af tegen de blauwe lucht. Uitstekende scherpte ook.

Naar Spanje gaan en geen molen gefotografeerd, zou een zware fout zijn.
Maar u heeft de gelegenheid niet laten voorbij gaan.
En het deel van de molen op een zeer scherpe wijze, aan ons laten zien.
