Photographer's Note
Two last pictures from Spain for the time being, and once again from La Sagrada Familia.
I wrote a note about how Gaudi came to design and build the Temple alongside my shot 'An Exceptional Temple'. So I won't repeat myself.
From 'sagradafamilia.com - "La Sagrada Familia is a one-of-a-kind temple, for its origins, foundation and purpose. Fruit of the work of genius architect Antoni Gaudi, the project was promoted by the people for the people.
Five generations have now watched the Temple progress in Barcelona.
Today, more than 140 years after the laying of the cornerstone construction continues on the Basilica."
'Stone trees'? As I was looking at this particular shot and the enormous tall columns I was reminded of trees, especially as some of the columns seem to branch out just like a tree.
I hope that one day I will be able to return and enjoy this awesome building.
Thanks for looking.

Hello Jean,
This is really a very special church, hardly similar to anything else. Both photos are very interesting and show us fascinating details, but the main one gets the top score for a warmer and more interesting light and for the fine view of the stained glass windows.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Jean,
The tall pillars and the special shaped main hall of the Segrada Familia makes a special effect on senses, when someone walk inside.
Upon our visit in 03/2000 the place was still under construction, now an impressive beauty.
Have a nice sunday,
Ike

Great and so original architecture, well framed and presented with this vertical format, so high ! good effect with people to give a scale at your photo and for this famous church, tfs.

Hello Jean,
A great photo showing the size of those impressive pillars inside the cathedral and their shapes. Also the stained-glass windows are beautiful and add some great colours.

Hello Jean,
I actually think that the columns in your photo in the WS are shown in a nicer composition.
I would also like to visit Barcelona again to see the further evolution of the Sagrada Familia cathedral. I've been there twice but each time the cathedral looks so different.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Jean,
Sagrada Familia can't be mistaken, it's unique. And offers endless photo opportunities. This view gives a good idea how those columns divide like tree branches high up. Stained glass windows add lovely colours.

Hi Jean.
After a few days of vacation on the island of Menorca, I am again in these pages, with you.
Sensational composition with this interior view of the Sagrada Familia temple, magnificent perspective of the tall columns and the colored stained glass windows.
A magnificent color that gives a lot of chromatic richness to the image.
Very good management of lighting and sharpness.
Well done. I like it.
I wish you a pleasant week.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hi Jean,
As I have mentioned before, my visit to this magnificent temple was in the time when the interior was still under construction so I do recognize this architecture but mainly from other photos I have seen before.
Great, quite an extraordinary design,
Very well done,
