The commercial center in Stockholm, a photo from Sodermanland, Svealand

Photographer's Note

This is the Sergel's square (Sergels torg) in the commercial center in Stockholm which is a capital in Sweden. I remember that place was the distance for about 10 minutes on foot from central railway station(T-centralen). Here is a rotary circle and the tower of the glass of the stylish design in character with Northern Europe stands in the center beside the fountain. As for the circumference of the square, buildings such as a cultural center (Kulturhuset) and a department store are located in a line. The high architecture with spire which is visible to the left is considered to be Saint Clara church (Klara Kyrka). The underground of this square is called "Plattan" with a famous triangular floor pattern. And, the subterranean shopping mall spreads out underground. It looks like the useful construction style in consideration of a cold and long winter.

Hello Mikio,
This is a fine panoramic view of the centre of my city, but on this cold day in January it doesn't look very inviting. In fact nothing looks inviting here in that kind of weather. The scan is nicely done with well kept colours and sharpness.

Excellent scanned pict and pp treatment, It's well stretched city panorama in good depth, clarity and shooting angle. This image renders a frosty view in this fine composition with specks of vivid colors add and serve as effective focal and contrast. A good chilly record shot. Well done
