Wikipedia about Rhône Glacier:

"The Rhône Glacier is the source of the Rhone River in the far eastern end of the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It is located near the Grimsel Pass, and is part of the Oberwald municipality.
The River Rhône (French Rhône, Occitan Ròse, Franco-Provençal Roun, standard German Rhone, Valais German Rotten, Italian Rodano) , all coming from Latin Rhodanus, is one of the major rivers of Europe, running through Switzerland and France. It rises as the effluent of the Rhône Glacier in Valais, Switzerland, in the Saint-Gotthard massif, at an altitude of 1753 m."

We were there with our class where we had a speech about the Rhône Glacier and its history. Then we had a role game: we made 3 groups of generations talking about the past, present and future of the glacier. (Grandmother, parents and children disputing about the Rhône Glacier). The speech was instructive...and the role play was funny!
