Hi Piotr,
This is an excellent image. I really like the composition. Black and white is a great choice here too. The tones really add to the drama and mood of the scene.

Hello Piotr,

Sometimes, you look through your archives and see shots that you cannot believe you overlooked. I think this might be one such shot! It is immediately captivating because of the cold, encompassing danger of the mountains and the lonely, tiny, unsupported figure battling against the elements.
B&W, for me, seems to add to the sense of chill.

this is a superb picture, an awesome description of the landscape and the experience. The lone figure relates to the scenery actively, it's great that he's placed in the middle ground, the view has vast depth and all the areas and textures that surround him are attractive and significant. What an excellent subject, and a perfect choice to convert to black and white too, it suits your image so well. The mountains loom above the character in the shot, and create a strong sense of lonliness as this solo traveller treks through the scene. Really excellent image, thanks for sharing.

This is a fabulous composition. You managed a beautiful balance of light and dark areas, and the view of the mountains and clouds is truly fascinating. And still it would not at all have been the same without the lonely trekker walking along the ridge, perfectly placed against the foggy background.

Hello Piotr - The lone hiker adds to the impact of the B&W image. I like the fact that he strides along with his pack and is almost silhouetted against the low cloud.... the contrast is super. The scale of the landscape is nicely accentuated by his seemingly diminutive size.

An original presentation, well done.

The silhouetted hiker 'makes' this shot and great that you used a sufficiently high shutter speed not to get motion blur, which sometimes happens in my shots :-(

Fantastic graphism and tonal range ahnd the alpine snowcapped peaks make a superb backdrop. Tfs!

Excelelnt shot. One of my favorite and it is rare to see a black and white photo on this site. This one is particular good with little person walking in this mountain that makes us feel so small, love the misty condition mood. Excellent quality and good composition. Love it.
