Photographer's Note

The Erlenmatt (also known as NT Areal) is an old switching yard at the northern end of Basel, abandoned by the german railways several years ago. Together with grass and willows, the city's subcultures took over the place and odd events, bars, flea markets and art projects started to pop up. This era now comes to an end as construction work for the next chapter started.

This chair sits on the sun deck of a temporary summer bar, left from the last party to be clebrated in this place, ever - the music stops and nobody is there.
