Photographer's Note

There are two monasteries (or better to say, convents, because only nuns live in both of them) in the old town of Putivl. They are Svyatodukhivskiy (founded in 1617) and Movchanskiy (1591). The Movchanskiy Convent is seen in this picture. It is situated on a hill above the Seym River. Its address is Seym痴 Street, 1/1.

In the picture you can see the over-gate bell tower (1602-1604) and the church of John the Baptist (1866-1869).

Both Monasteries are so pretty.One tall, one short. Love the flowers inthe front. Very well framed. Very nicely captured.

this is beautiful architecture of two monasteries.
The are an amazing and spectacular. Wonderful flowers around the stairs. Excellent management of light and color, fantastic composition and framed as well. All are wonderful. I love this picture. Great job.

Beautiful monastery. Impressive gate with bell tower and the church lookinng rather strange, as it is so low. Nice place with many flowers. The snow white walls, golden cupolas look fine against blue sky.

Nice composition here including both buildings in the shot. The flower pots on the steps in the foreground adds depth and interest for the shot. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness. The towers stand out nicely against the great blue sky.

Two very different buildings, but the two convents are a monumental very harmonious, original building left, with the great tower and the arch communicating with the other area is beautiful as these flowers adorned with pots.
Great use of light in a bright sunny day, good color balance also. This type of building I love. Well done.

Прекрасная композиция - как муж с женой, он слева, она справа-соответственно. Не знаю даже почему пришло в голову, но, как у большинства художников, глаз видит по-другому...
Левая структура напоминает своей базой Софию в Киеве, но все пропорционально миниатюрней.
Великолепно передана цветовая гамма!
