The domes of Saint Andrew church in Kyiv. Definitly one of he most beautiful landmarks of the capital is located in the top of a hill to highlght their importance.
Down the hill is the Andriyivskyy Descent connecting up and low parts of the town through a small street full of artist, old buildings and shops.
Dedicated to Saint Andrew who predicted that a big city will be uild there. Visiting Kyiv I could say that he was absolutely right.

Hello Fran,

The great physicist Werner Heisenberg once said, "Never underestimate how much pleasure it gives a man to see what he already knows." Well, from 3-4 visits to Kiev, I have seen the clean and colorful architectural edifice of Saint Andrew, and this is one of the finest detail shots in my recollection.
