Photographer's Note
At the exhibition in May 2019, Stan Jankowski exhibited this wind sculpture, 'Large Curves' made with copper and brass.
In the catalogue that year he was quoted "As an offshoot of my love for making weathervanes and working in copper and brass it was a natural progression.
The first wind sculpture was so mesmerising that I just kept making, each successive sculpture getting more complex.
As my sculptures and ideas evolved, so too did my fabrication skill, learning metal spinning was quite a task, but very worthwhile.
My current body of work is the product of years of steady evolution."
No sound as the metal pieces spin.
Two more shots in the w/s.
Thank you for looking.

Hello Jean,
This is a bit different from the last piece, but we can see that it's the same artist playing around with the same ideas. It's smart and beautiful at the same time. And the WS surprise me, step by step, by showing us this work getting bigger and bigger. But how could people be permitted to leave cigarette butts on the lawn!
I hope you haven't yet run out of photos from this interesting place.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Jean,
A great close-up of this work of art and the large curves look great, especially thanks to their copper and brass colours, which make a great contrast with the cloudy sky.

Hello Jean
Missed this one. Looks like an advert for His masters voice gramophones! Or those cones they put around injured pets to stop them licking their wounds. Perfect sharpness and nice repetition. Tfs!

Hi Jean,
Very nice series of the musical statues :)
Here even the clouds sky was helpful to well present the artwork. You have a good eye for the art, it is possible that I wouldn't notice this exhibition. Espacially judging by the workshop photo which shows it in the wider context.
We learn something new on TrekEarth every day.
Great reportage,

Hi Jean
What lovely shapes and patterns the artist has made. The light reflects very nicely off the brass.
