Photographer's Note
I took advantage of the morning sunlight before work to wander along Embankment opposite the London Eye. The sun was just off centered behind the eye, perfect for illuminating the pods.
The London Eye is one of the world's largest ferris wheels, situated right on the Thames, just by Westminster and the Houses of Parliament. It takes approximately 30 minutes for one revolution of the wheel and on a sunny day, the views over London are fantastic. See more here

Hi,
interesting shot of the eye...and it's not always easy to find a new approach to this attraction. The sepia tones add a little something to the whole scene, I like that.
Cheers,
Philippe

Bonjour CW,
It's the kind of photo that makes me admire the attentive eyes of the photographer. You composed here very well and the almost duotone image is very attractive, especially with the fine & crispy silhouettes, and the light burning the lower/right part and giving the idea of sunrise, though I think we actually don't see the sun (?)
Very good!
