Photographer's Note

The London Eye is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually, and has made many appearances in popular culture.

The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). When it opened to the public in 2000 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. /WIKIPEDIA/

Hello dear friend and have a nice new week
during this rainy day the London eye
is a cantilevered observation wheel

the grey sky describes the coming storm
and generally the atmosphere is too moody
but I like the whole scenery and the red

Hello Janusz, an excellent capture; I really like the way that the cloud has broken just behind the London Eye, so we see all its features clearly.
A scene full of atmosphere and so typical of London.
Even the wet road helps to enhance the scene.

An eye grabbing shot shot of the famous Wheel, tones, contrast and view point. A really pleasant image finely exposed under lovely deep grey sky with speck of vivid red. You have turned this to be a great photo, bold, vibrant and smooth. Extremely a satisfying shot, Congrats

Hello Janusz,
You managed to capture a lot of very distinct elements in this photo. It's not just the famous London Eye, but the double-deckers, the large statue, the red and white cones in the street, the funny yellow rickshaw. My favourite part of the photo is the narrow section showing the Eye and the silhouettes of the persons below it carrying umbrellas while standing in the light reflected in the wet street. You managed an amazing clarity in the bad weather.

A great impression of London in a great light, which makes a wonderful combination with the cloudy sky. The London Eye is well included at left, but the other buildings in the background and the road with two red buses are great additions too.

I have seen many images of the London Eye and indeed taken several myself. This one is different which is why I like it so much. The rain storm has made the road glisten and the umbrellas are up. No -one is on top of the bus I see! Lots to observe in this super image.

The famous London Eye captured from a different POV, showing a little more of the street, with the inclusion of the also famous red buses from the city! The reflections on the wet ground are an interesting detail of the image! Very nice job!

Janusz, i remember that place i was there in 2003 and for the new year 2006. The structure is one of London symbols and appeared in many movies yet. It was a rainy day, many people have umbrellas. One typical London red tourist bus is parked on the right.

Together with the London Eye a realistic photo with the many umbrellas and the wet road surface, so typical of England.
The sky clears nicely behind the Eye so it catches our attention.
Beautiful presentation with the inclusion of the statue and the red double-decker.
