Photographer's Note
Final posting from my trip on the Mersey Ferry. The ever changing Liverpool skyline. On the right the famous Liver building, on the left the Unity building, including the penthouse pod on the top.

Serwus David !
Convincing crop for panorama format, works very well. Favourable light shining through the clouds and You really exposed this entire scene perfectly. I see a slight tilt to the right, and i think this resolution needs more sharpness, it is rather too soft. Things to improve in PP.
Best wishes and thank You,
Mat

Daid, certainly a changing shoreline of Liverpool. Have never been on the ferry and rarely visit Liverpool to be honest. Actually I was never one for cities (he says living in London).
Don't tell me you support Liverpool. Ha, ha. Torres. At this rate you will have to learn Spanish ;))
All the best David. See you in a couple of weeks.
Regards,
Mark

Hi David,
A great view, really impressive to see it like this. Your panorama look helps a lot to that impressions. Old an modern architecture beside each other. Very weird, but gives really good contrast how large city's develop in style.
The only thing is the sharpness, it could be a bit higher to brinh out even more detail.
Have a nice weekend, Henk

Hi David
I would never imagine Liverpool has such an appealing skyline, the combination of old and new makes it diverse in styles and shapes and thus interesting, the light to enhance the buildings over the clouds is very pleasant as well, you've been at the right place at the right time and did the right thing.
Have a nice week end, JY

Hi there David, friend!
I am getting to know better and better Liverpool because of you! Though my favourite place on Earth is your also beloved London, I am getting curious about Merseyside capital.
You have got on your gallery very intersting panoramics about the profile of the city, this is not an exception, very well seen and taken my friend!
Cheers and thank you for your words about my last image, and my last adventure trying to get onboard! ;-P
Take care!

Hi David!
Amazing architecture photo, with very impressive, almost panoramic framing and simle but excellent composition. What impresses me the most is your great "respect" to the lines of the buildings. No perspective distortion visible anywhere. Congratulations!
Best regards,

Hi David, I have never seen the Liverpool waterfront and you captured the diversity on display here very well - it's like a book of architecture styles and I dig the rhythm and verticality here, helped much by the pano format. Nice job, TFS.
Have a fine weekend,
Bert

Bonsoir David
tr鑚 belle vue et bon choix du format panoramique pour 駲uilibrer cette compo. Le m駘ange entre le "neuf" et l'ancien donne une belle ambiance. Beau travail.

A bit soft maybe, but good composition and interesting view of the whole. Saturation could be stronger, contrast is ok.

Hi David,
A most effective panorama shot of the skyline. The contrast between old and new could not be better portrayed, with the impressive Liver building so stately and traditional versus the modernistic Unity building. The church tower also is in direct apposition to the modernistic tower to the right. I like your proportion of water in the foreground and also the moody sky. A very well captured scene. Cheers.

Well made city profile in this compo from the ferry David. Good inclusion of the city with its mix of new and old as seen from out on the water. The panoformat good for this compo.
