Photographer's Note
This is a follow-up to my last posting and shows the 'Cinder Track'which used to be the route of the Whitby to Scarborough railway, before it closed in 1965 - a casualty of the Beeching Report. The brick bridge is one of a number on the route. The portion of the track shown is near the Whitby end of the route. The track is now popular with walkers and cyclists.

Hello Maggie,
This particular picture strongly reminding me the "Water-of-Leith" trail in Edinburgh, which I taken a long stride with my daughter, back in 10/2016.
The two bikers enliven the scene, mild-light was superbly handled and the outcome of the picture is absolutely wonderful.
Cheers and a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello MAggie
They don't get much better than this . It is almost that time of year. I will be in the Smoky Mountains next month looking for images of the fall colors. They have many bridges and tunnels to get a images of. I hope to find some spots as nice as this. Well done

Hello Maggie,
I like the soft diffused light and the red arched bridge framing the 2 cyclists. A moody and atmospheric shot with the path adding linear perspective and the fg trees providing depth and layering to the composition. Tfs!

Hi Maggie
Just like the last one this image is full of atmosphere, this time created by the overcast light and the almost overwhelming presence of vegetation that almost hide the viaduct. It feels like being in a primeval forest.
The people are a nice addition.
Have a nice week

Hi dear Maggie
So calm, thick and tranqulized landscape image from you. I suppose this was taken in Autumn at a glance. Deep expsoure setting makes so clear and sharp presentation from fron to rear. So wonderful shot!
All the best and have a good day! Takero

Hello Maggie,
I've just discovered your gallery and this image is a particularly appealing one for me, reminding me, as it does, of so many walks I have with friends in our part of Scotland - and your interesting note also reminding me of the appalling decimation brought about to our railways by Dr. Beeching.
This is a fine and well composed photograph, the red brick bridge framing the "Cinder Track" so well and with the approaching pair of cyclists perfectly placed and adding human interest as well as a fine sense of scale.
Lovely soft light and colours, perfect exposure and excellent detail and sharpness.
Lovely!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. On a slightly negative note, I should love to take this walk but I do get vexed at times by cyclists who fly along tracks like this, often approaching fast and silently from behind with no warning. :(
