Photographer's Note

An early afternoon in November, I tool this from a moving vehicle, so I'm pleased it came out so well.

We were heading down the A38 from Bristol to Shipham, on our way for lunch and a walk in the Mendips, and the mist was hugging the levels on our left. To me, this is Somerset at its most beautiful. While I've been there in the Summer, it's the autumn and winters that really stick in my mind.

Cropped, because foreground field was too motion-blurred and the sky was rather dull (no poleriser). A little Levels to reduce flat washed-out look, but not too much. Unshapen-mask at 0.6px (resize compensation).
