Photographer's Note
In the courtyard of the exhibition centre i visited, there were a lot of strange metals constructions, one of them and the most impressive, was this moving metal horse built on an old tracer that flicked flames during its motion.
Newcastle upon Tyne
Newcastle upon Tyne ,commonly known as Newcastle, is a city in Tyne and Wear, North East England, 103 miles (166 km) south of Edinburgh and 277 miles (446 km) north of London on the northern bank of the River Tyne, 8.5 mi (13.7 km) from the North Sea.Newcastle is the most populous city in the North East, and forms the core of the Tyneside conurbation, the eighth most populous urban area in the United Kingdom. Newcastle is a member of the English Core Cities Group and is a member of the Eurocities network of European cities.
Newcastle was part of the county of Northumberland until 1400, when it became a county of itself, a status it retained until becoming part of Tyne and Wear in 1974.The regional nickname and dialect for people from Newcastle and the surrounding area is Geordie. Newcastle also houses Newcastle University, a member of the Russell Group, as well as Northumbria University.
The city developed around the Roman settlement Pons Aelius and was named after the castle built in 1080 by Robert Curthose, William the Conqueror's eldest son. The city grew as an important centre for the wool trade in the 14th century, and later became a major coal mining area. The port developed in the 16th century and, along with the shipyards lower down the River Tyne, was amongst the world's largest shipbuilding and ship-repairing centres.
Newcastle's economy includes corporate headquarters, learning, digital technology, retail, tourism and cultural centres, from which the city contributes 」13 billion towards the United Kingdom's GVA. Among its icons are Newcastle United football club and the Tyne Bridge. Since 1981 the city has hosted the Great North Run, a half marathon which attracts over 57,000 runners each year.

Hello Danos, So you left Richmond and now you are in Newcastle. What a weird construction like a horse. Does it move? Very strange, it seems made from part of the tractor. What am imagination had the artist!
Kind regards Malgo

Bonjour, cher Danos,
C'est amusant de voir cette transformation d'un ancien tracteur en cheval d'acier semblant vouloir affronter des dragons imaginaires.
J'aime le sujet et la mise en image.
Amiti駸.

Hello Danos,
What a remarkable vehicle, which looks amazing with all these rusty metal parts in the shape of a large modern horse-drawn carriage. A great photo, very well captured.

Hello Danos,
It's a very strange but rather funny "car". Maybe today the Greeks could use a horse like this to get inside Troy. ;-) This is the third time in a few days I see scrap metal being used in an unexpected way on photos on TE. It is like a modern statue, or installation.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Danos,
This is an amazing construction.
A very inspired and talented metalwork artist has had fun here!
I can see bits of motorbikes in this metal horse!
It's a well composed photograph, lots of space into which this metal creature can move and with fine details of its location.
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Unique, strange but outstanding and interesting, Danos.
not the "Horse of Troy"... of course., but looks well armored.
Taken well this unusual scenery against the modern fa軋de.

Hi Danos,
The building is framing well the monster. The point of view is showing the details of the metallic horse. The light has a good effect on the colours. Have a nice day.

Bonjour Danos,
Cela prend un bon moteur pour faire avancer un aussi gros monstre de m騁al.On attend juste que du feu sorte de sa bouche. Juste un pet dommage que l'arri鑽e plan soit aussi nul.
Amicalement

Hello Danos, it is amazing what can be made from re-cycled materials, and all credit to the person/s who created this.
The driver appears to be enjoying the experience.
I notice that he is outside the hospital, I hope that it isn't needed!
Good composition, and an eye catcher.
Regards Jean.

Hello Danos,
This must be the iron horse, oh wait that's a locomotive. Good sharpness and the rust red color contrasts perfectly against the bg blue wall. An innovative use of old rusty car parts. Tfs!

Geia sou Danos The driver is 'talking big'! I consider at least 1,500 HORSEpower are whinnying in there, especially if the engine is spitting fire, as you mentioned!! Thanks for showing this pleasing oddity and the driver's ingenuity! Se xereto

Hello dan.
Surprising and strange vehicle, but without a doubt of great originality, and the best thing of all is that it can move with that aspect of modern work of art.
Very effective coloring, which highlights the details of the image.
Good management, both brightness and sharpness.
Very well done. I like it.
Enjoy the weekend.
My best wishes for you.
Luis.

Hi Danos,
I didn't know you were so close here! I live 50min drive from Newcastle, I could have come for TE meeting! Sometimes people tell me they are in the UK but London is way too far for me but Newcastle is a comfortable distance. Although I work full time. On 29th May I was in Poland though...
Very strange construction indeed, well seen and captured!

Hello Danos,
A very strange horse.
With the flames the driver has to watch out under which he drives.
With its rust colour it stands out well against the blue wall.
Best regards, Paul
