Photographer's Note
Another famous place on the Northern Ireland coast that I saw from far away only.
The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge links the mainland to the tiny island of Carrickarede (you see it on the right side). It spans 20 metres and is 30 metres above the rocks below. It was closed, maybe because of the COVID. But even if it were open, for sure I wouldn't cross it. As I have read, there have been many instances where visitors, unable to face the walk back across the bridge, have had to be taken off the island by boat.
I will post a wider view in the Workshop. Even without a close visit to the bridge, I found the place very beautiful.
But where is the bridge? Look at the picture in a large format. You can see quite clearly the small white house on the island. Up there a path is also visible. If you follow the path in the left direction, you will come to the bridge. It very thin and not stable, so from far away it is difficult to see.

Hello Malgo,
I must admit I can't see the bridge, but I imagine where it is and I agree I wouldn't consider using it. But it's not important that it's so thin it can't be seen from a distance, it's a fascinating view anyway of the windswept green hills.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo,
If you don't know the local situation, the bridge from here is not easy to recognize, but your story shows that it looks rather scary. Nevertheless a beautiful picture with this green landscape that touches the sea.
Well done
Have a nice Sunday, groet Rob

Ciao Malgo,I can't see the bridge but it would surely be an adventure to cross it, as I read in your notes. Luckily you didn't get the idea of doing this madness, you have already done many in your life .. hehe ... however the 2 photos are beautiful, the Irish coasts always offer a great show. Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Malgo,
Even with the details of a brighter sky in the w/s, there is a strong suggestion from your main photograph that the cliffs were under cloud.
You reveal a beautiful, romantic coast where perhaps, a poet would like to live on that small, isolated island.
I would imagine that the building materials would have been delivered by sea, I cannot imagine stones and huge timbers travelling across that little bridge!
Ireland does have beauty in abundance. My daughter-in-law's father owns some thatched cottages on the Atlantic coast which have a breathtakingly beautiful location!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello MAlgo ,
A good choice of the panoramic format , without sky , for this beautiful green coastal landscape.

Pleasant panorama view about the area.
Lovely taken, with the rocks in foreground.

Hello Malgo,
A great photo of the beautiful Irish coast. The wide composition is excellent and nicely divided between the wide blue ocean and the green slopes reaching all the way to the edges of the cliffs. Well done.

Hi Malgo
A good series of coastal photos and I can see why some would baulk at that bridge.

Hello Malgo,
Wonderful coastline of Northern Ireland.
If I may have a preference for one of the three pictures, then it is for the first one in the WS.
Best regards, Paul

Hello, the coastline is made of cliffs in that area. They are covered by the moor. A walk on the coastal path provides stunning views of the sea. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello MALgo,
I see that you've a fantastic time in NI and you were treated with fabulous weather.
What a beautiful view of the cliffs - all three of them.
Amazingly green everywhere I see - the raw wind of the Atlantic Ocean gently brushing the cliffs of grasses on a cool summer day.
What a pity this place is closed. Yeah, I clearly see the bridge ( a tiny rope bridge ). I would definitely cross it. It would be so fun and exciting even if I've slightly fear of height.
Thanks for sharing - it's very beautiful place.

Hello Malgo,
I can see the quaint little cottage wedged into the cliffs but not the rope bridge. Good colour and sharpness and the bg island at top left adds another focal point. Tfs!
