Photographer's Note

This photograph was taken looking across Loch Lomond to Ben Lomond. I exposed a few frames within a few minutes of each other, but I think the bird skimming the water made this shot stand out from the rest. I've re-posted this cropped version. There might have been just too much water in the foreground of the earlier version. I've also put a frame round the picture. After a lot of deliberation and an assertive contribution to the forum regarding the use of frames, I've decided to go for this look. I'm sticking with it...I think.

Good composition with geat blue in the foreground. Interesting to see the ferry in the distance.

Nice one, the photo and scene,
Lovely blue sky and water, the bird breaks up the water making it more interesting. Nice calming effect.The ferry "Maid of the Loch" also adds to the effect, nice moment, clear blue skies.
