Hello Emmanuel,
This is dark and dramatic. You have a well balanced composition with the Old
an rising at the thirds line and a good leading line provided by the track from the bottom right. The hills surrounding the lake craete a bowl effect.Perhaps if you had waited longer the sun may have peeped from behind the cloud and provided better illumination. But in Scotland it is likely that the sky became darker rather than lighter as the weather closed in.
best regards,
Bev

Hi emmanuel. An interesting and expressive photo. In particular, the dramatic mood of the photo makes it worth seeing. Fine composition, strong contrasts. The photo pleases me very well. Rgds, Wolfgang.

Bonsoir Emmanuel,
Bon cadrage 馮alement avec ce chemin partant du coin droit / bas de la photo et qui guide le regard vers le Old Man of Storr.

Hello Emmanuel - When we were in Skye last year the weather didn't allow for a visit to this location but I know it is a hotspot for landscape work and with good reason. Your shot has captured the atmosphere of the place very well and I like the deep rich colours and light both of which are so evocative of the island and its changing temperament. Your composition looking out towards the sea is classic. I feel that you could have managed a little more detail in the Old Man, the pinnacle is very dark and I wonder if this is a result of your filter. I might be inclined to do a little dodge and burn in that area. Lovely shot nonetheless. Best regards Rosemary

Hello Emmanuel,
A beautiful photograph from Scotland!
This, of course, is a famous landmark in Skye but you have captured it perfectly. The lighting is superb and has no doubt been helped a lot by your very subtle use of a ND graduated filter to darken the sky.
The mood and colours of the sky are amazing as also are the ways the light is reflected off the sea and the clouds are casting dark shadows on the ground.
A very well composed and taken shot.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Emmanuel,
This is very beautiful and extremely moody landscape. So rich and deep in color and tone. Lovely composition and excellent quality. You did great with this light condition.
