A PLANNED TOWN, a photo from Cardiff, Wales

Photographer's Note

Cardiff is a very old town, but near the castle there is an area where there are many public buildings and parks in a kind of planned public space created in the 19th century. There are many imposing buildings and monuments as those I posted before. Here we have another glimpse.
In the BG you can see the same dragon I posted before while in FG you can see a monument to Malvinas (Falkland) Island war.

Hi Jorge,i remember very well the dragon,it's a bit small in this composition but i can recognize it thanks to the perfect sharpness of the composition. An excellent large view from Cardiff,i never thought to be there but your pics are very interesting,maybe i will change idea about a trip in Wales...eheh...have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Jorge

The red leafed tree in the bottom left corner adds a wonderful arm cold colour contrast with the blue sky. Good sharpness and the clocktower adds a fine focal point. Tfs!

I love the gentle light touching the stone of the buildings and the large tower. The gardens make a great foreground with the red tree particularly well included at left.

Bel 馘ifice � l'architecture 駘馮ante, ce qui frappe c'est la tour en arri鑽e-plan, le moderne et l'ancien vont devoir cohabiter d'une nouvelle fa輟n.
J'aime beaucoup l'avant-plan joliment paysager.

A very nice postcard kind of photo with interesting architecture of different kinds and a beautiful red tree on the side. The clouds were nicely shaped. It's a beautifully clear photo with attractively mild colours and a fine light.

Una preciosa foto y sin duda con contrastes, ese moderno edificio tan cerca de la maravillosa torre es una pena, ideal el jardin con ese arbol rojizo.
Un bonito dia de luz en que todo destaca mas.

Hi Jorge,
very attractive tower, well placed asymmetrically in the frame. I have seen so many photos of Cardiff which discourage me actually from going there so your photos are a pleasant change. May be because people try to be too original and it is hard to learn something from their photos.
