Photographer's Note
This shot was taken along the wooded edge of Verulam Park, close to the Olde Fighting Cocks pub, in St Albans. The River Ver is the divider between the grounds of the old Roman settlement of Verulamium and modern day St Albans.
It really is more of a stream than a river these days, but I like the secluded feeling of this spot, which is set just down from a main path, but has a great natural feel.

Hi, CW. A very good composition with the nicely frozen cascades. I like all the green in the picture, which gives a sense of being deep in the nature. Interesting to spot the people in the background contrasting with the natural foreground. In my taste, the picture is a little too light, so I think I would have made it a tad darker.
Have a nice evening,
Philippe
