Piccadilly Circus, a photo from London, England

Photographer's Note

It was my first time visiting England. What strucks me the most is the marvelous architectural structure. Old, bending, tall, curvy--full of personality.

Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster, built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with the major shopping street of Piccadilly. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction.

it's a wonderful photo with an amazing point of view! The way the curving road is sweeping through the frame is fantastic. The bright colors are very eye-catching, excellent composition. I only think the photo is a bit tilted to the left.

I like the graphics there, created by the sinuous road and buildings . Sky is white, but that is London!

it's what they call the swinging London! The bare line was maybe reserved to the olympic games vehicules.

I love the curve from this POV. I also like the nice color contrast between the pale buildings and the bright buses and flags. TFS
